It’s not what you say, but how you say it

The saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me” is not a true statement. As humans we cannot live separate from our emotions. We are a packaged deal. We must think before we speak. Proverbs 25:11 states, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.”
